Details

InPower is seeking to expand its impact in fostering emotional intelligence, creating safe digital spaces, and enhancing community wellbeing. To achieve this, a robust grant strategy is essential. This project involves researching and identifying local, national, and international grant opportunities that align with InPower’s mission. Students will analyze these opportunities and develop tailored grant proposals that highlight InPower’s strengths and objectives. The project aims to equip InPower with a strategic pipeline of funding opportunities, enabling the organization to effectively scale its initiatives. By applying classroom knowledge in grant writing and strategic planning, students will contribute to InPower’s growth and sustainability.

Key tasks include:

- Conducting comprehensive research on potential grant opportunities.

- Aligning grant opportunities with InPower’s mission and objectives.

- Developing customized grant proposals for selected opportunities.

- Creating a strategic plan for submitting and managing grant applications.

Deliverables

The project will culminate in a detailed report and a set of ready-to-submit grant proposals. These deliverables will include a list of identified grant opportunities, tailored proposals for each opportunity, and a strategic plan for future grant applications. This will provide InPower with a clear roadmap for securing funding and scaling its impact.

Deliverables include:

- A comprehensive report on researched grant opportunities.

- Tailored grant proposals aligned with InPower’s mission.

- A strategic plan for managing and submitting grant applications.

About InPower

InPower is a social wellness platform on a mission to transform how we connect, grow, and support each other in the digital age. Unlike traditional social media, which thrives on outrage, isolation, and performative metrics, InPower creates a safe, emotionally intelligent ecosystem where real personal development, community healing, and peer-to-peer empowerment thrive.

We’re building the first-of-its-kind social platform designed around growth, not popularity combining real-time education, community accountability, expert support, and emotionally aware AI to guide users toward better habits, healthier relationships, and deeper self-understanding.

Our Vision
To create a world where every person feels safe, supported, and empowered to grow emotionally, mentally, socially, and even financially through a thriving ecosystem built on compassion, clarity, and community accountability.

What Makes InPower Different
Safety by Design – Group access is earned through skill-based badges (e.g., conflict resolution, non-judgmental communication). This encourages learning before belonging not punishment. Removed members are redirected to educational modules instead of being banned.

Emotionally Intelligent AI (Meeka) – Our AI assistant recognizes tone, sarcasm, and cultural cues. Meeka offers real-time rewording suggestions before harmful posts go live, helping users grow in the moment like a CBT-informed guide.

Expert-Led Ecosystem – Licensed professionals (therapists, coaches, educators) can run groups, offer courses, and book sessions. Their presence is central to our platform's credibility and emotional safety net.

Personal Growth Tools – From progress reports and daily check-ins to journaling, habit tracking, and educational paths, we give users real tools to move forward, not just scroll.

B2B Integration – InPower offers employer and university partnerships, emotional health programs, loyalty cards with partner discounts, and data-free surveys for ethical monetization and mutual value creation.
